Francis Fukuyama wrote the internationally acclaimed «The End of History» 30 years ago about the victory of liberal democracies. What has happened since then, and why has identity politics become more important in order to understand global affairs?
Francis Fukuyama is Olivier Nomellini Senior Fellow at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies and director of the Ford Dorsey Master’s in International Policy
Research Affiliate at The Europe Center. He is also Mosbacher Director of the Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law at Stanford University.
