spectacular human-rights festival, held in Norway at the end of April,
where veterans of human-rights struggles—with a preponderance of
anti-communists and victims of harsh Islamic regimes—were invited to
tell their stories.» De fortsetter: «as Western governments (including
America’s) give less priority to human rights, NGOs seem likely to play a
bigger role. And perhaps a bit of competition among them would do no
harm.» Civita er en av konferansens norske støttespillere.
