I dette møtet setter vi et kritisk lys på statlige styringsambisjoner i innovasjons- og næringspolitikken, herunder ideene til økonomen Mariana Mazzucato. Hva skal være statens rolle i omstillingen til en grønnere, mer dynamisk økonomi?

I panelet: Christian Sandström, ass. professor ved Jönköping International Business School og tilknyttet Ratio Institute i Stockholm, Maria Berg Reinertsen, samfunnsøkonom og journalist i Morgenbladet, og Jan Schnellenbach, professor i økonomi ved Brandenburg University of Technology, Tyskland.

Møtet arrangeres i samarbeid med Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, og avholdes på engelsk.

Which role should the state play in an innovation driven market economy? Join us to learn more from a new collection of critical analyses and assessments of state-led innovation and top-down industrial policies, by innovation scholars and economists.

Panelists:

• Christian Sandström, Ass. Professor Jönköping International Business School and researcher at Ratio Institute, Stockholm.
• Maria Berg Reinertsen, Economics commentator at Morgenbladet, Oslo.
• Jan Schnellenbach, Professor of Economics, Brandenburg University of Technology, Cottbus, Germany.

The discussion will be moderated by Lars Peder Nordbakken, Civita.

The breakfast meeting is hosted in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung.

A Q&A session will follow after the introduction.
