Civita breakfast in the University Aula Tuesday, June 13th 8.00–9.00 am

Francis Fukuyama on AI, technology and how it will impact democracies and world politics

Francis Fukuyama has participated in the public debate for more than three decades and has followed the development in world politics. How will technology impact politics, and will ChatGPT, AI and developments in biotech be a blessing or a curse? 

The rector of the University of Oslo, Svein Stølen, will open the meeting. 

The conversation with Francis Fukuyama is hosted by Mathilde Fasting from Civita.

This breakfast meeting is a cooperation between the University of Oslo, Oslo Freedom Forum and Civita. The meeting will take place at the University Aula, Karl Johans gate 47.

There will also be a book signing with Fukuyama after the meeting. Books will be available for purchase with Vipps.

Doors open at 7.30 am.

There is no breakfast serving at this meeting. Food and beverages are not allowed in the University Aula.

For security reasons, the University Aula has mandatory coat and bag check. Large bags must be stored in the cloakroom.

We recommend arriving well before the event starts.
