In cooperation with Oslo Freedom Forum, Civita invites you to a breakfast meeting Monday October 4th 8.00 -9.00 am
Russia has during Putin’s presidency evolved ever more authoritarian. Russia`s leading opposition politician, Alexey Navalny, has challenged the corrupt system, and accordingly encountered attempted murder and jail without due process. Why did Navalny choose to return to Russia after the attempted poisoning by the FSB? Does Navalny and his allies stand any chance against Vladimir Putin?
Panelists: Leonid Volkov, Chief of Staff to Alexey Navalny and Karen-Anna Eggen, PhD Fellow at the Norwegian Institute for Defence Studies.
This breakfast meeting is hosted in cooperation with Oslo Freedom Forum.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, this breakfast meeting will be broadcasted digitally. Should the opportunity arise to open up for a physical audience too, we will revert to you with this.
